Regional Projects and Events
Under its former title of Equata, Kaleido ran, or was a partner in running, several groundbreaking projects and events. These include:

The South West Disability Film Festival, 2006

'Common Ground'; an exhibition by Devon Disabled Artists at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton, 2006
This was the first time a group of disabled people had exhibited in Devon and included highly professional sculpture, textiles, dance, mixed media and poetry.  The exhibition was also fully accessible, with audio description and Braille panels alongside the artworks, and an open day that was British Sign Language interpreted.

Dance Feast, 2005
The South West's first ever celebration of the work of Disabled and integrated dance artists and practitioners. As well as performances, this event encompassed a community outreach programme, workshops, discussions and networking.

'Above and Beyond', a celebration of Disability Arts and Culture, as part of the European Year of Disabled People 2003
This was an international festival bringing together the best in performers, speakers and artists from across the globe, including: Liz Crow, Mat Fraser, Julie McNamara, Caroline Parker, David Roche, Sidiki Conde, Alan Shain, Victoria Maxwell, Tan Yue Liang, Philip Patston, Graeae, Nasty Girls and Signdance Collective.
